devátý obláček:
relaxing massages
for women
NEWS
December 4th, 2021 Dear clients, I have been very grateful for your interest in my massage sessions in the past two years. Unfortunately, I have decided to close the studio down due to this very uncertain situation. I believe I will return to massages again in the future.
Have a lovely, kind and peaceful Christmas and the days coming,
Lucie
devátý obláček (cloud nine in English) would like to become a parallel universe to you. A universe, in which you are free to have a cup of tea, feel comfortingly warm, let the relaxing music float around the room, while you wonder through your inner landscape. I cannot promise a miraculous back pain healing, intuitive insights, nor releasing inner blockages. What I can promise, however, is make the most I can to instigate you - to relax, take time for yourself and your own wellbeing. And that I'll do with all my hearth and humbleness. It is fascinating to watch how having regular massages can not only help your muscles relax, but also improve your mood. You may even feel a sense of inner balance and deal with people more easily. That is my goal. I am looking forward to meeting you, Yours Lucie

My Profile
My name is Lucie Heroutová and since three years ago I have been hardly ever taking a picture of myself without my little daughter :-) I have a paediatric nurse diploma and have always been drawn to some sort of bodywork. Therefore I decided to gain massage therapist qualification followed by several specialised courses. The unique combination of these composes now my style, which I consider to be a signature of each individual massage therapist. Do not hesitate to get in touch, ask whatever comes to your mind. I am looking forward to meeting you.
About Massages
Many of us may consider taking time to just rest a little challenging. People usually exercise and get mental rest in an active way. However, the passive way - calming down and relaxing both the body and mind can be quite difficult to achieve. Some find it hard to even imagine "switching the head off" for a while. A massage can help us get into the desired overall relaxed state more easily. It even supports tuning the brain into so called alpha brain waves that are very beneficial and naturally occur e.g. shortly before we fall asleep.
Massage effects:
-
Deeper breathing
-
Immune system boost
-
Psychological benefits
-
Improves blood and lymph circulation
-
Balances the nervous system
-
Regenerates and nourishes the skin
-
Promotes overall body regeneration
-
Provides relief for strained or tired muscles
How to prepare for a massage?
Try to avoid heavier meals at least one hour prior to the massage. You don't need to starve, of course. If you feel hungry, just have "a bite". Taking a shower is recommended, as the skin tends to absorb the nurturing oil composition more easily. If at all possible, you may want to slowly divert the thoughts away from "I have to solve this and that", "I should not forget to", etc. by giving them less attention. You will benefit from the massage more if you try to be "now and there".
After the massage:
If you feel like giving feedback, any is welcome :-) If you can, try having a calmer schedule that day, let the massage fade out slowly. Drink enough water, mineral water, milder tea. It is better to leave out alcohol and make sure you are warm enough, as you may be more sensitive to cold that day.
Massage is not recommended if you experience any of the following:
-
extreme exhaustion
-
acute, febrile and infectious diseases
-
vein related diseases, such as phlebitis
-
intoxication (alcohol, drugs)
-
tumours and other cancerous diseases
-
infections of the skin and soft tissue (some may benefit from a massage, but always consult your doctor first)
-
thrombosis
-
bleeding disorders such as haemophilia
-
rheumatoid arthritis and gout
-
bursitis
-
epilepsy
-
myositis ossificans
-
post-stroke conditions, any abnormalities in brain blood vessels
-
other cardiovascular diseases
-
recent operations
-
recovery stages
-
psychiatric diseases
-
pregnancy (generally, massage is not contraindicated, better performed by a specialist, though)
Local contraindications to a massage (we will leave out these areas):
-
areas affected by an injury or local disease (cuts, open wounds, inflammation of all kinds, bruises, ruptures, broken bones, burns, chilblains)
-
artificial blood vessels (by-pass, etc.)
-
varicose veins
-
undiagnosed lumps, cysts, moles
Please do not be ashamed to mention any acute or chronic diseases, so I can customise the massage to your needs. It is of great importance that I know your current state of health. In rare cases I may ask for your doctor's approval. If you are unsure, whether a massage session is advisable in your condition, consult your doctor beforehand, please.
